One of my jobs as a wedding photographer is to capture the "details" of the wedding day. This is something that I go over with my couples when we are doing their timeline. "Please make sure that you have all of your details ready to be photographed, such as your wedding dress, invitations, rings, tie, cufflinks, etc." I actually really love photographing the details, don't get me wrong, but they are not why I got into weddings.
Love is why I started photographing weddings. It's the only thing that's gotten me through this crazy stressful and incredibly rewarding career.
Megan and James didn't have an "over-the-top" wedding and it was perfection. The day was full of family members and friends that loved this couple so much. It's always a huge honor when people fly you in for a wedding. It's an even bigger honor when they become your friends.
